BROWN'S LAKE... Browns Lake is just east of the city of Burlington. The surface area is 396 acres and the maximum depth is 44 ft. The water quality is clear and most of the shoreline is sandy and provides excellent swimming. Heavy weekend boat traffic makes fishing dangerous at times. Speed boating and skiing are popular sports. Properties range in value from the $120's to over $800,000. Frontage is priced the highest of the Racine County lakes.
