OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS HAVE UNTIL DEC. 20 TO FILE FOR SALES TAX REBATE
Just a reminder, People who live elsewhere but went on shopping sprees in Wisconsin can now file a special application to get a refund on the sales taxes they paid, as long as they still have their receipts. Checks will automatically go to anyone who filed state income taxes in 1998, but out-of-state taxpayers have until Dec. 20 to file for their share of the rebate checks. If you spent at least $20 in sales tax and can produce 1998 receipts for your Wisconsin purchases, you will get a rebate of 30.4% of the sales taxes paid, with a limit of $267. Non-resident property owners are urged to apply for the sales tax rebate since they will no longer get a lottery credit on property they own in Wisconsin.

Our slide shows are posted for all of our listings. We have music but haven't done voice over description yet. We are still trying to figure out how to keep the file sizes workable so the voice addition will wait awhile. We are really excited about the full screen slide shows. The descriptions are far more complete than before and the slide feature makes it MUCH easier to see the whole property without a lot of clicks and wait time. To get the service going, we used the pictures that had already been on the Photo Tour that we have been using. We are working on the full circle panoramic photos that will be coming. We just have to perfect the "stitch" concept of "burst" digital pictures. New concepts are both exciting and challenging. We welcome any input from the "techies" in our audience.
