EAGLE LAKE...
located in the NW quadrant of Hwys 11 and 75, Eagle Lake is about 520 acres in size and about 15 feet deep. Beautiful Eagle Park is on the North side. There is a posted limit of two northerns per day. It is a drainage lake that eventually leads to the Fox River. The shoreline is 96% privately owned and about 35% wetland. Many areas of the shoreline are sandy and good for swimming. The lake experienced a lot of attention from the DNR in the mid-90's when it was treated to improve the fishing and eliminate the "rough fish." Housing ranges from very affordable to the $400's. A popular supper club is on the South East corner of the lake.
