RUNZHEIMER INTERNATIONAL
Runzheimer International is developing a 70-acre, high technology business park in Waterford. On this site, the company is building its new corporate headquarters. Runzheimer will be the anchor business in this new development that eventually could attract as many as 25 to 35 commercial and business tenants. Rex Runzheimer stated, in the most recent issue of Center Point/Racine County Economic Redevelopment, that they anticipate moving into the new structure this fall. The current Runzheimer staff is spread out over three different buildings.

The building that is presently nearing the finishing stages is one of three buildings planned for this site. Besides its own offices, Mr. Runzheimer hopes to attract a variety of tenants including high technology, retail, commercial and light industrial businesses.

Founded in the Chicago area, the company moved to Rochester, Wisconsin in 1961. The company has grown steadily over the years and currently has more than 2000 clients worldwide. With strong ties to the community, company president Rex Runzheimer, grandson of the founder, wanted the company to remain in southeastern Wisconsin. The project is part of the TIF program. It is located at the corner of Highway 36/164/K. It is, at present, at the far Northeast corner of the village of Waterford.
