Area Lakes Verna Acker, CRS

Our community is truly blessed. Lakes and rivers are part of every area. Many homes have lake access and some are lucky enough to have private frontage. Fox River is a major landmark that runs through Western Racine County. The Fox River and Lake Tichigan combine to make a wonderful recreational resource for this part of our county.

Summer on the Pier

Lakes in our area range from 5 acres to 1100 acres. We have no-wake waterways and we have miles of water that accommodates 200 horse motors. Lake Tichigan is the largest waterway. It is part of the Fox River system. Browns Lake has sandy swimming frontage and has the highest priced frontage for the area. Lake Waubeesee is small, but has good water quality. Check below for stats on the area lakes. The descriptions given are from earlier publications. Sewers have enhanced water quality. Those of us who live here know how really lucky we are!
