THE VERNA ACKER TEAM
We are making the team concept official this week:

PAM PAULSEN has been with me for more than nine years. As a licensed assistant, she has handled closing transactions and has worked with the buyers who call on my listings. She will be sharing her current work load with another team member. This will give her more time to work with buyers and sellers. Pam's title will now be Transaction Coordinator. As a licensee, she will be the primary contact as a “question-answerer.” She will show homes and work with the nuts-and-bolts of the transaction from the first inquiry to the closing. Pam and I will work together from the first meeting with the customer/client, throughout the entire transaction.

GWEN NELLEN has been working with us since 1998. As she has been doing, she will be handling the paperwork and computer work necessary to get the listings in the marketing system. She will track the advertising, work with me to create the marketing materials and the ad layouts. She will do all of the creation of color brochures, information flyers and all of the items that are listed in our Seller's Manual. Some of her present responsibilities will be redistributed to other desks. She will work closely with me from the moment the listing enters the system until the time that it has a solid accepted offer. Her title is Listing Coordinator.

DIANE SCHNELL has been working with me since about 1993. She began in my office but gravitated to my part-time, home-based business manager. She has, and will continue to, take care of all of the financial aspects of our system. Additionally, she will now be working more closely with us at the office. She will assume regular work hours on-site. She will track the details of the transaction once the accepted offer goes together. She will work closely with Pam to coordinate the inspections, the attorneys, the lenders and the other players in the closing part of the transaction. Diane's title is Closing Coordinator. Diane has an exceptional talent for detail and follow up and we welcome her expanded participation in our office. (Diane is also my daughter.)

HELEN POOLE will be, as before, our invaluable receptionist and Customer Coordinator. Helen will be working more hours and will take charge of the first calls from buyers. She will set appointments on our listings and will set appointments for Pam and me for times when we are showing property. She is also responsible for seeing that the showing reports and the ad copies are mailed to our sellers on a timely basis. She sees to it that our Direct Mail marketing pieces are in the mail in a timely fashion. She is our all-around Girl Friday.

THREE other Realty Executive agents are also at ready availability to help anywhere a customer or a client needs an appointment that cannot be covered by me or by Pam.

AND, THEN THERE IS "ME"… Backed by this extraordinary team of individuals, I will be focusing my attention, as always, as a Seller's specialist. I will be working closely with the sellers to create saleable listings and to see that these listings are sold as quickly as possible for the best price possible. Working with buyers, I, along with Pam, will commit to diligently helping buyers find the property that they want. With the extra assistance that I will be getting, as a result of our restructure of the team, I will be able to put more of my efforts and talents into the part of the business that I do best…. "Turning your Dreams to Realty"

TOGETHER – We are “The best real estate team in this corner of the civilized world!” And, we can prove it!!!!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank the many people who have offered their prayers and their support during the past two weeks. My husband's health is a concern and the good wishes from friends and family is helping us cope in this very difficult time. Because of the present situation, I will be working both from my home office and from my business office. I will be backed by the team that continues to bless me with their loyalty and their total commitment to our common goals. What has been a theme in our office for a great many years, has become a “watch-phrase” that truly describes the exceptional people that God has sent to me. Not only is my staff “the best in our corner of the world.” They are the best friends that anyone can have. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.
